In this condensed introduction to hand weaving you will weave a nice warm scarf. This is a concentrated weaving class designed for those who are visually impaired or blind. Each step in the process will be verbally and tactually explained. You will learn how to measure your warp yarn and get it onto your floor loom (provided as part of your tuition fee). As you weave you will experience the mystery and joy of seeing your fabric evolve. Handouts and patterns will be provided in braille, MS Word files, or large print upon advanced request. Returning students may design their own project.
Maximum number of students is 8.

Supplies: Scissors, tape measure, calculator (talking, if needed) shuttles, bobbins. Materials fee will be determined by materials used in your project.
