MOSAIC PATTERNS ON A KNITTING MACHINE

$205.00
Mosaic knitting is a great way to make color patterns that are not suitable for jacquard knitting. Barbara Walker wrote a classic knitting book with lots of mosaic patterns which can be an inspiration for machine knitting. In this class, students will learn how to knit mosaic patterns on a knitting machine. Pattern design will also be discussed, including translating traditional mosaic patterns for the machine. Students will knit a project with a mosaic pattern in class. This class is for students who know how to use a knitting machine.

Supplies: Paper, pencil, calculator, scissors, tape measure, tapestry needle. Yarns for projects will be discussed in class. If you have Design-A-Knit installed and operating on a laptop computer, please bring to class so you can use for your design.
