KNITTING BRIOCHE ON A KNITTING BOARD

Brioche stitch is a popular stitch structure, usually knit on needles. The knitting board, or rectangular loom, is ideally suited to knitting plain brioche. In this class, students will learn to knit 2 color brioche on a knitting board and make scarves with different colors on each side. No previous knitting board experience is necessary. Casting on and binding off with the knitting board will also be taught. The month between classes is time for knitting. Supplies: Paper, pencil, scissors, tape measure, tapestry needle. Bring a knitting board and hook with at least 16 pegs on each side, for example, Authentic Knitting Board 32 Peg Basic Loom. Aran weight yarn - 2 colors, approximately 240 yards of each color.
