This laboratory setting course provides students with the opportunity to develop their own woven garment design from concept to patternmaking to first muslin sample. Students will complete a final pattern on oak tag board along with a Cutters Must and a Specification Sheet. Material fee includes brown paper, oak tag board and pattern hook. Prerequisite: Intro to Patternmaking


Supplies: 18"x2" clear ruler, french curve, tape measure, mechanical pencils (.9mm), erasure, tracing wheel, wax or transfer tracing paper, 3/4” wide matt finish tape, straight pins, paper and fabric scissors, red pencil, hand sewing (basting) needles, spool of colored thread, medium weight muslin for first sample *Instructor will have the following items available for class use but if the student has these items, they are encouraged to bring them to class: hip curve ruler, large french curve, notcher, awl, style-line tape
