Prerequisite: Patternmaking 2: Individualized Block Set. Students will draft a dartless knit top foundation based on their individual block set. They will draft a first pattern, fit a full sample and create a final pattern for the knit foundation. Students will then design and complete a garment using their knit foundation.


18"x2" clear ruler, 24” curve, tape measure,(.9mm) mechanical pencil set, tracing wheel, tracing paper, 3/4” Scotch magic tape, weighted tape dispenser, pins, paper and fabric scissors, red pencil, 4 yd. 54" wide medium weight muslin, hand sewing needles, spool of colored thread

 

*Instructor will have the following items available for class use but if the student has these items, they are encouraged to bring them to class: large french curve, notcher, awl
