In this class we'll make several pieces and explore multiple techniques to set stones in fine silver metal clay, such as wet clay capture, syringe capture, and bur setting. We'll discuss fireable vs non-fireable stones and options for setting each, along with design considerations. NOTE: You will need to provide your own chain or cord. Supplies: ***Due to fluctuations in the cost of silver and silver clay, you may receive less clay than originally budgeted OR you may be able to purchase additional clay from the instructor.


Supplies: note: we will be kiln and torch firring during class. Students need to wear closed toe shoes and pull long hair back
