Drawing is fascinating and stimulates the imagination. A good drawing makes a good painting. Learn how to see and draw what you see! In this class, you will learn the fundamental aspects of drawing using paper and graphite pencil. We will focus on drawing lines, shapes and forms. We will also address the use of light and shade (chiaroscuro), basic linear perspective, values, and arrangement of elements to make a better composition. You will practice from geometric objects, still life and photo references.
