Collage art meets sculpture painting in a single session, 3 hour course, where each student will leave with a finished abstract art piece on stretched canvas. This class is for anyone interested in exploring the use of heavy acrylic mediums and textured fabrics and materials on canvas in the context of abstract art. This class will primarily focus on creating dimensional interest through acrylic medium applications and the unconventional use of various tools and materials. Create fun and unique acrylic textures while exploring tactile abstract art. Class Level - “intermediate to advanced” “All student levels are welcome to attend, but this is an intermediate to advanced level class, therefore your final results may vary based on your current level.”


Supplies: Students should bring: Set of various paint brushes, including small detail brush/ medium flat and (or) angled brush/ large brush/ 1 medium brush for clear acrylic only; paint knife, apron, 1 or 2 sponges for blending (any type), color wheel or color guide, scissors, note taking materials, latex gloves (optional), 2oz squeeze bottle, 2oz spray bottle
