Open to the beginning and intermediate fuser, a good foundation in glass fusing is essential. Basic fusing concepts such as cutting and construction, how glass behaves at different temperatures, and firing schedules are among the topics to be covered. Beginning students will make test tiles and a panel requiring multiple firings. Additional projects will be made as time and materials allow. Experienced students may work at their own pace, choosing to participate in the weekly demonstrations and projects, or to work as though this class were an extended open lab.
