This class is for first time and returning students. You will incorporate various basic and advanced metals techniques to create original wearable or sculptural projects using non-ferrous metals, stones, found objects, and other materials. Emphasis will be on design and function. Beginning students will create a fabricated silver ring and a copper or brass etched bracelet or book mark. Advanced students will receive instruction for their metal smithing goals.


Supplies: Bring lots of ideas, sketchbooks, and if you have your own tools please bring them. We have basic tools for new students to use. Materials will be purchased in class.
