BUILD ACRYLIC PAINT SCULPTURES

This two-day class for beginners will teach you how to create acrylic paint sculptures using a variety of acrylic mediums, and compound materials. Create unique 3D sculptures that will be on either a canvas or wooden panel base and can be moulded into almost any shape. Prime and paint your sculpture with finishing techniques such as sanding and smoothing or explore rough textures. Class Objectives: • Understand the principals of acrylic mediums • How to apply sculptural principals to hardened acrylic paint mediums • Experiment with different scales and designs such as abstracts or landscapes. • Complete this workshop with an acrylic paint sculpture to take home • Spark your creativity with an exciting new acrylic art form.


Supplies: Students should bring a set of various paint brushes, paint knife set, apron, gloves, dust mask, 1 or 2 sponges, color wheel or color guide, scissors, mixing spatula, spray bottle, favorite paint sets, safety glasses.
