HANDWOVEN TOTE BASKET WITH INKLE LOOMED STRAPS

Customize your tote basket with handwoven strap handles. On the first day of class, you will weave on inkle looms to create a one of a kind look. You will have several patterns to choose from and be able to pick your own colors from the shop selection of 3/2 mercerized cotton. On the second day, you will weave a tote basket approximately 10x5x10 with a traditional base, start and stop rows with a lashed rim. No experience necessary.


Supplies: Day 1: Scissors and note taking materials. We will have looms to use if you need one. Please bring your own if you have one. Day 2:Hand towel, snap type clothes pins, tape measure, paper, pencil.
