CANVAS TO KICKS: SHOE PAINTING AND INKLE WOVEN SHOELACES

Step into style with this one day shoe painting class! Bring in a pair of canvas shoes and transform them into a personalized work of art. First, using acrylic paint and brushes, you will explore various techniques and color mixing methods to design unique patterns that reflect your style. Next, Customize your painted shoes with one-of-a-kind handwoven laces. No experience necessary. You will be able to choose your 5/2 mercerized cotton from a selection of colors.


Supplies: For the shoe painting, please bring: Canvas shoes (white canvas will be helpful with showing colors! ) paper towels or paint rag, paint apron (optional) For the shoelace weaving: Bring scissors and note taking material. We will have inkle looms for your use, but feel free to bring your own if you have one.
