For students who have never sewn or wish to erase bad habits from junior high home ec. class. Using Bernina 335 machines, you'll become familiar with basic tools, terms, techniques, and aids. You will choose fabric, prepare it, lay out, cut, and construct a tote bag using a commercial pattern.
Supplies: Please purchase Simplicity #9308, bring scissors for cutting paper only, 8" scissors for cutting fabric only, glass head straight pins, tape measure, notebook and pen are optional if you're a note taker. A closed beverage container is allowed in fiber studio, placed along window ledges and never on the work surfaces.
