Beginning in the 1950’s, Dr. Bateman derived many patterns and ideas on his Structo 8-S table loom. We
will weave some of his samples on table looms, floor looms and the 2 computer dobby looms. This is a
round robin class, with lots of time given for weaving samples between the 2 scheduled class days. You
will gain an understanding of Bateman weaves through Robyn Spady’s Zoom presentation on October 25.
Our class will continue the Bateman discussion and give you experience weaving samples for your own
collection. Ms. Spady’s presentation is a prerequisite for the class.
