The Kavanagh Gallery is an open, light-filled space designed to showcase a variety of art exhibits. Each year, the gallery displays between six and seven shows. Below is our current list of artist opportunities.

2026/2027 Shows:
July 23 - August 19. 2026
Artists are invited to submit original artwork for the Sculpture at the Kavanagh exhibit to be held at the Kavanagh Gallery of Fine Line Creative Arts Center, St. Charles, Illinois. The show is open to any 3-D work in any sculpture or craft medium. No paintings, photographs, or other 2-D work will be accepted.
December 17 - February 12, 2027
(Closed December 20, 2026, to January 3, 2027)
Artists are invited to submit original artwork for Vivid at the Kavanagh Gallery of Fine Line Creative Arts Center, St. Charles, Illinois. Work in this show will have unmistakable energy and a lively, dynamic composition that elicits a strong reaction from the viewer. Vivid artworks need bold, vibrant, saturated hues. All media are accepted. Maximum size is 48” wide.
February 18 - April 2, 2027
A forest can be an amazing, sometimes mystical place. Light filtering through the canopy of
trees reveal the many plants and animals that call the forest home. It can also open your
imagination to rarer, mythical forest dwellers. Fantastical creatures, fairies, elves, and the
occasional unicorn might be seen out of the corner of your eye. This exhibit will show the wonders, both real and imaginary, of a walk in the forest.
Work in all 2D and 3D media will be considered by the jury.
