Alan Shontz

$130.00

In each session students will learn about the glass studio, its equipment, the tools used and the basics of glassblowing. Each student will have the opportunity to create their own piece of glass art with the assistance of the instructor from one of the following forms: a paperweight, a small vase, a stemless wine glass or a rocks glass. Pieces will be available for pickup a minimum of 48 hours following completion of the class. This is a 1 hour class for 1 person. Due to COVID-19 you can only sign-up with someone else living in your same household. In that case, sign-up for 2 consecutive time slots.

Supplies: We supply safety glasses (if you wear glasses for both distance and reading those are fine), please wear closed toe shoes, non-synthetic clothes and bring water. We are a non-smoking facility and alcohol is not permitted on our premises. Feel free to take pictures if you like.
