Alan Shontz

$130.00

In each session students will learn about the glass studio, its equipment, the tools used and the basics of glassblowing. Each student will have the opportunity to create their own glass art paperweight with the assistance of the instructor. This intro into solid working does not introduce any air or blown bubble into the pieces.  Pieces will be available for pickup a minimum of 48 hours following completion of the class. This is a 1 hour class for 1 person. Due to COVID-19 you can only sign-up with someone else living in your same household. In that case, sign-up for 2 consecutive time slots (2 hours). Masks are mandatory through the duration of the session.

Supplies: We supply safety glasses (if you wear glasses for both distance and reading those are fine), please wear closed toe shoes, non-synthetic clothes and bring water. Feel free to take pictures if you like. Note: For safety, classes will be rescheduled should the heat index exceed 95 during class time.
