The Kavanagh Gallery is an open, light-filled space created for the presentation of a wide range of art exhibits.

Each year the gallery displays between six and seven exhibits. These exhibits range from nation-wide invitational and juried shows of paintings, pottery, textiles, photography and sculpture, to one and two person shows, faculty, and member exhibits, and our annual holiday extravaganza, the Christmastime at Fine Line Show and Sale.

Hygge - Creating Sanctuary

Perhaps the Danish word 'hygge' is not meant to be translated; it is meant to be felt. The concept of hygge can be thought of as a warm glow, a feeling of comfort and contentment, a deeply satisfying feeling of well-being, and an indulgence in all the good things and people in one's life. It includes the sharing of stories about ideas, history, culture and the things we create. Hygge is personified by making the ordinary meaningful and special. It is a warm embrace for the soul.
