From ancient Egypt to modern Belgium, the flax plant has been cultivated and cherished for its seed and fiber. The first class will cover flax processing, how it is spun into linen, characteristics of linen, and its yarn count system. With that knowledge you will design a project and order your yarn. Before the second class you will have to sley your reed and thread the heddles. Class 2 begins with tips for winding and tying on your warp, before you weave your special treasure.
