Learn the basic tools and techniques of welding and torch cutting, using MIG, Stick and OX Propane torches. In this two day class we will explore different types of fastening processes used to produce decorative and functional items. We will focus on learning the processes of welding-brazing, silver solder and riveting.
This class requires some physical activity. Only people with good wrist, arm and leg function should attend.
Supplies: Bring to class a pair of leather work gloves, safety glasses, comfortable leather work-shoes or boots (no sandals), cotton jeans or pants (no sweats or cuffed pants), note taking materials, water bottle and bag lunch. You will be getting dirty so dress appropriately.
