This hands-on course will teach you about acrylic mediums, paints, pigments, inks, mixes, and polymers, and how to use acrylic with other types of compounds to use in art. This course will teach you how to create everything from watercolors to acrylic solids, and how to change the properties of acrylic to suit almost any art project. This includes techniques on how to blend, layer, liquify, adhere, harden, and texturize your acrylics for new and exciting art pieces. Students will do experiments and complete mini art projects to ensure a real-world understanding of how to use each process for their future artwork. Supplies students should bring : Set of various paint brushes, paint knife set, apron, gloves, dust mask, 1 or 2 sponges, color wheel or color guide, scissors, mixing spatula, spray bottle, favorite paint sets (optional)
