Dive deeper into the possibilities of silk painting. This workshop exposes students to a variety of surface design
techniques for creating patterns and designs on fabric. Students will work with thickened dye and fabric paint to roll,
stamp, sponge, spray and stencil original designs on silk. Materials fee includes two 21.5” square silk scarfs. Per
student. Additional silk available for purchase.
Supplies: Some scarfs will be available to purchase at the Dempsey Shop at FineLine. Students may purchase silk fabric for painting and additional scarfs from Dharma Trading prior to workshop
