FABRIC PAINTING OPEN STUDIO

For students with silk painting experience who want to further explore the possibilities of the media. This gives you studio time to take what you have learned in and pursue your creative vision for painting on silk using dyes and fabric paints. Emphasis on individual attention as you design and create a silk painting, hand painted scarf, or fabric pieces to incorporate into your mixed media, collage, quilts, or garments. Prerequisite: Introduction to Silk Painting.


Supplies: Some scarfs will be available to purchase at the Dempsey Shop at Fine Line. Students may purchase silk fabric for painting and additional scarfs from Dharma Trading prior to workshop.
