IMPROVISATIONAL TOTE BAG

Purchase pattern and gather materials to bring to class. Bring quilting scraps or fat quarters. We will discuss ideas for blocks, improv of course, and put together a one of a kind tote. Instructor will have examples.


Supplies: Noodlehead pattern: Fika Tote, 1yd fabric for main color, and 1/2 for accents, plus scraps or fat quarters to make improv blocks. 2 yards fabric for lining. 18-10” zipper, closed ended or separating, for top closure. 30” single pull zipper for back pocket. Rotary cutter, polyester thread, water soluble pen. Optional: pinking shears, turner device. Instructor will supply woven interfacing and foam stabilizer, sewing machine needle
