Get patterns in your cloth by using just one reed and no pick-up sticks! In this class you’ll make either cocktail napkins or small bar towels (12” wide) with multiple patterns on each. We will explore tricks and techniques for warping, managing tension and getting good selvedges, as well as how to use floating selvedges to weave with 3 shuttles. You will need to bring 4-5 oz. of each of two colors of 8/2 cotton yarn (must be contrasting values). Additional guidance will be provided so you can prepare in advance for class. Prerequisite: Prior experience dressing and weaving on a rigid heddle loom.
Supplies: 8/2 cotton yarn in 2 contrasting colors; details will be sent in advance.
