Learn to work with tempered wire to create these springy earwire designs. Incorporating a coil into the earring, allows it to be "sprung" opened and closed, which avoids creating a stress/breaking point break. The components of the kinetic earring will involve making loops,disc cutting, drilling, forging, forming , sanding filing and polishing . Some small hand tool experience, and or patience is helpful.
Supplies: You may be able to incorporate some of your own beads into this design if you choose. Bring your beads to class on the first day, so we can evaluate if they will work. If you have any jewelry tools, feel free to bring them. Magnification/headgear/visor is helpful.
