INTRO TO METAL CLAY

Explore real silver in clay form! We’ll cover everything you need to know from handling the clay, texturing, trimming, refining, firing, and finishing techniques while making multiple pieces. You’ll leave with finished jewelry and the skills you need to continue exploring metal clay on your own. NOTE: We will be torch firing during class. Students should wear closed toe shoes and tie back long hair


Supplies: ***Due to fluctuations in the cost of silver and silver clay, you may receive less clay than originally budgeted OR you may be able to purchase additional clay from the instructor. NOTE: you will need to supply your own chain, cord, findings, etc.
