In this class, we will explore the technique of Sgraffito as it can be applied in enameling. Sgraffito is a decoration technique where the outer layer is removed or scratched away to expose an underlying layer. There are many forms of Sgraffito, and we will look at several during this class.
This is not a beginner class. Students should either have some experience with enameling in a kiln, or have taken the Intro to Enameling class.
Supplies: Students must wear closed-toe shoes at all times during class.
