BEZEL CABOCHON RING

The focus of this class is learning to make a bezel and set a cabochon gemstone. We will be making a ring similar to the one pictured. We will use various hand tools, a torch , grinding and polishing machines. Material fee includes Sterling Silver and a black onyx cabochon to set in the ring. If you have your own stones, feel free to bring them. The stone should be a flat bottom cabochon, somewhere near 8mm x 10 mm in size. Preferably a hard non porous stone for first time bezel setting. No previous experience required.


Supplies: A magnifying visor is helpful. If you have long hair, bring a tie back for torch work and polishing.
