STACKING RINGS WITH STONES

Take your stacking rings to the next level! In this class we will focus on making Sterling rings with Gemstones. You will make the bezel & set the cabochon amethyst stone. You will learn tube setting for the faceted stones. We will be working with square and rectangular wire to make the bands. Using hammering techniques for texture. Material Fee INCLUDES 3 Gemstones. (Cabochon Amethyst, faceted Amethyst and a choice of a 2nd faceted amethyst or a faceted Blue topaz) Materials include enough silver for the 5 rings pictured. Students can expect to complete 3-5 rings depending on the individual.


Supplies: Magnifying visor is strongly suggested for setting stones. This class is best suited for someone with some jewelry making experience. If you've taken any of my previous ring classes, or have some experience soldering, this qualifies for experience. If you haven't taken any jewelry classes, I would suggest taking Stacking Rings , or More Stacking rings as a prerequisite. Bring a tie back if you have long hair. Masks are required.
