Handwoven lace is a structure with warp and weft floats that group together to form beautiful "lacey” areas within the fabric. You will learn the difference between huck and Bronson laces and then choose your favorite to incorporate into your lace project such as placemats, table runner, shawl, or scarf. We will review the basics of planning a project, calculating yarn requirements, and drafting weave structures for those who are relatively new to weaving.
Supplies: Scissors, tape measure, calculator, note taking supplies, tapestry needle, graph paper. Materials Fee will be determined by your chosen project.
