HOPPING INTO CLAY: A CERAMIC HARE WORKSHOP
This two-day workshop is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive introduction to ceramic sculpture, focusing on form, technique, and scale. Through hands-on exercises and demonstrations, participants will learn to create a variety of ceramic sculptures, from small birds to a larger reclining jack rabbit.
Workshop Objectives • Understand the principles of form and composition in ceramic sculpture. • Develop a range of sculpting techniques and skills. • Explore different scales and approaches to creating ceramic sculptures. • Learn to use tools and materials effectively. • Gain confidence in their ability to create unique ceramic sculptures.
Supplies: Students should bring: Your favorite tools, clay (Deana prefers a White stoneware), newspaper, tape, board to work on.
