In this 6-hour papermaking workshop, participants will learn how to create imagery within sheets of handmade paper using colored pulp as a medium. We will explore various application methods, including spray bottles, squirt bottles, and brushes. Participants can create their own stencil forms or use stencils prepared by the instructor. No previous experience necessary. You will leave with several small pulp paintings to take home and dry. Expect to get a little wet! Don Widmer is a Chicago-based artist whose pulp paintings of architectural imagery and nature can be seen at arts fairs throughout the Midwest.
