Got junk? Or maybe a memento that is special to you that you want to make even more special?
We will work together on creating an animal sculpture that will work with a found object to tell a story when complete. We will discuss concepts, symbolism, and storytelling using found objects. We will review all the sculpting techniques used in creating these pieces, with a strong focus on engineering and tips & tricks for the final attachment.
Please bring: Clay, tools, a set of synthetic watercolor brushes & coarse oil paint brushes, newspaper, masking tape, bucket & sprayer for water, towel, board for supporting your piece. And most importantly a found object for your final piece and any photo references for your animal.
