Birds can evoke so many meanings for us. In this workshop we will discuss using birds in your work from concept to creation with lots of tips & tricks along the way!
In our time together we will sculpt a small Sparrow, a flying Hummingbird and a medium size bird of your choice. We will discuss using form to build a good foundation before we create the decorative aspects of each piece. I will demonstrate suggestive wing making, feathering, and capturing the essence of a specific species.
Supplies: Please bring: Clay, tools, a set of synthetic watercolor brushes & coarse oil paint brushes, newspaper, masking tape, bucket & sprayer for water, towel, board for supporting your piece. *Photo refences for the bird of your choice.
