INTRO TO HYDRAULIC PRESS JEWELRY -added June 12

Take your metalsmithing skills to the next level by learning how to use a hydraulic press. The Hydraulic press is a wonderful, useful machine that is simple to operate. Use it to speed up all sorts of jewelry making. This course will focus on the correct usage and basic techniques of using a hydraulic press. In the first class students will learn how to form an anticlastic and a synclastic bracelet. In the second class student will learn how to fabricate earrings and pendants. This class is open for beginning students and students who wish to refresh their skills with the press.


Supplies: Bring any tools and supplies to texture and fine finish your pieces. If desired Sterling Silver will be available for purchase in class.
