PATTERNMAKING I

Patternmaking is essential to learning how garments are created and put together, what is possible and what is not when it comes to designing a garment.  This course focuses on the three patternmaking principles: dart manipulation, added fullness and contouring.  Students will use 1/2 scale blocks to develop patterns using these principles. Prerequisite: Intro to Patternmaking
